Dis and Dat

What a bad blogger I've been lately. I used to update daily. Now it just seems like I have nothing interesting to say. That doesn't mean my other posts are interesting by any means! Ha!

I've lost between 10-11.5 lbs now. It depends what time of the day I step on the scale! I think of that as two 5lb bags of sugar. That's a lot! My hubby is way pleased. He said he can tell I'm feeling good about it because I'm even more frisky. I think he's right.

I spent the day working outside on Sunday. It felt so good to get some of those nagging projects done. I cut down a tree all by myself! It wasn't huge but it was a lot of work considering I didn't have a chainsaw. I used a handsaw for the whole thing. I ROCK! I get impatient sometimes and don't wait for help.

The cats seem a little better though they are still scratching some. I couldn't believe my older cat let me vacuum him! He wouldn't move out of my way so I put the hose attachment near him and he didn't move. So I started to use it to vacuum him. He just sat there and let me do it. He is SO not the cat he used to be. Time has really mellowed him.

It's finally raining. It's been a long time. I had to break down and water my lawn last week. I don't have to do that much here in Louisiana.

My brother gets here FRIDAY! I can't wait to see him.

Neighbor lifted weights with me 2 times last week. It was her idea to do it M-W-F. She didn't work out with me on Friday and she's not home today so I have a feeling she won't be lifting today either. Well, 2 days was a good run right?

I'm boring myself so you must be asleep by now.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

You're so lucky your cat lets you anywhere near him with the vacuum cleaner! We call it 'the machine that eats kittens' because our cat legs it every time I bring it out of the cupboard.

Mrs. T- The old one could care less. The young one on the other hand. Disappears into thin air when you bring out the vacuum!

Congrats on the ongoing weight loss! I soooo need to lose some weight...perhaps by drinking less soda would be a good start!

weight loss is very satisfying---so much more than eating potato chips. How is it that I know that and haven't lost a pound in 3 months?

Congrats on the weightloss. You're doing so well :)

I think our vacuum cleaner is the same brand as mrs t's. Both ours leg it too!

It is more disturbing that he let ME vaccum him, too! And I really hate his new found love of my lap! I hate cats on me. You know this. WTF is up with him? Cat-siemers?

Yay for you losing weight! I know how hard it is.

I haven't been posting much either...trying to drum up something interesting to say is not always easy.

What's the deal here? You missed another day of blogging! This is inexcusable! I'm allowed to take sporadic breaks from blogging...you are not!

:D

Have a great day :)

CCB - the more you hate a cat the more it decides it likes you, and the more you like cats, the more they hate you. It's because they're awkward wotsits.

Good going girl! Keep up whatever you are doing to lose that weight. I am sure the weight training is helping so keep it up.

If you think your cat still has some fleas, or its larva, you need to throw away the vaccumn bag or you will start breading fleas in the bag. I try to put some borateam in the bag, cover the hole with scotch tape and then tie it up in a plastic grocery bag and put it in the outside trash....It is a real shame that fleas thrive in our southern states....
