HEY diabetes! You want me? Huh? You think you're big enough to take me? Well it won't be without a fight big fella! The other day I hit the 20 lb lost mark. It blows my mind to think of 20 extra lbs on my body. That's like 4 bags (5 lbs each) of sugar! Holy cow! Fear has been a tremendous motivator for sure. I spoke to my father just the other day and he told me of just how much he hates having diabetes. How it is a chink in his armor. I don't like the idea that I may be predisposed to the disease but I'm thankful my doctor gave me a heads up about it. Ima gonna fight back! WOO!

AWESOME!
I've run 54 miles in the past 10 days and somehow haven't lost a pound. I think I've hit my bottom. Bottom, or it's the seconds I have at every meal that prevents the loss.
That is absolutely fantastic!
...but you know that 20lb you lost? I think I found it.
Yeah, I'm diabetic and have been for about 20 years. Not fun. I try to keep on my kids to watch what they eat so they won't end up like me and so far they're all very thin (took after their fathers...).
That was a lot of hard work you did. I'm very proud of you and I hope you're VERY proud of yourself.
yay for you! Bet getting up and down, tying your shoes, picking something up feels soooo different. To say nothing of other fun stuff, evil grin. You go girl.
Keep up the fight, you are doing great...
Time- muscle weighs more than fat, you are gaining muscle and probably loosing plenty of fat...Don't stop running.
Sue - I think I found some of her lost fat too....Ha Ha.

Keep fighting the good fight. Daily exercise is your best friend against type 2.
