*YAWN*

I have spent the morning in sort of a sleepy stupor. I got up and the heater had come on for the first time this season. It was chilly and my bed was warm. I got up and slid into my jeans for the first time this year they FIT! I didn't look like I was a big sausage in a small casing any more. YAY. I put on one of my favorite sweatshirts. Jeez. I SO love fall. I got my hubby off to work and waited outside with my daughter till her bus came. I took my chilly tushy back home and jumped back into my bed. It wasn't nearly as warm as it was when I left.

Just when my eyes started to get heavy and the bed warmed up again. I hear a small voice come from the baby monitor. "It's snuggle time mommy". I jump out of bed and pad across the cold floor. I jump in bed with my little boy just like every morning. We talk about how he slept and the dreams he had the night before and slowly ease him into his day. Only today I was under the covers and it was warm. I started to doze off. At least I did until he said "Can I get up now?" A peck on the cheek and we were on the move.

We didn't move to far though. I got him his morning juice and a cup of coffee for myself. I went in and grabbed my glasses and an afghan off the bed. I tucked it around us and we flipped on some cartoons. I can tell you the name of the cartoons but I couldn't tell you what happened. I'd see the opening credits then I'd blink and see the opening credits of the next one. Boy those shows went fast. It wasn't until I got up and moving again that I was able to fully wake up.

Wow what a mundane post huh? Thanks for sticking in there with me. if you did. For those of you who fell asleep or skipped to the end I completely understand, no hard feelings. Have a great day and GO ROCKIES! (I will always be a Colorado girl, no matter where I hang my hat!)

I love when my daughter has just woken up. She always comes in and cuddles with us for a few minutes before I have to get up and get ready for work. The little things in life :)

Yeah, it does sound like a perfect morning. I'm jealous. My daughter's version of cuddling in the morning is running into my room and jumping in bed with me. Stepping on my stomach, chest, balls, and whatever she can step and and jumping off me onto the bed as if she were jumping off a diving board and into a pool. I love it (minus the stepping on the balls) as much as you love your cuddle time. Mine's just slightly less relaxing.

I cuddle with my grandkids now...I watched them for four days, while my daughter and her husband we out of town for a wedding this past weekend. It was a lot of fun but it wore me out...Your little guy sounds like a good snuggler.

My husband turned on the heater last night but he turned it on too high and I woke up sweating this morning. I love FALL too....
