CCB has returned to work. Vacation is over. I'm having CCB withdrawals. I gotta win the lottery!
We took the kids to see Wall-E. It was a good movie but over the head of my four year old. Very little speaking till half way through the movie. Lots of great ideals at play in the movie and stuff to make you think. All my son cared about was seeing the robot.
Next was the water/amusement park. Had a great time but you already know that.
We had a date night on Thursday. We went to see "Wanted". It was really good, a little more blood than I expected and I had to turn my head a few times, but the story was good. We tried a new restaurant as per our agreement. (We decided to broaden our horizons and go to new places each time we had a date.) This time it was Champps. Eh. Not so yummy. Plus I was soaked by the rain that greeted us as we left the movie theater so I spent most of the meal shivering. Not awful but not a place we will go again.
Spent Friday morning with a sick boy. He gets sick if he doesn't eat enough dinner the night before (just like his daddy did as a kid) and he showed all the signs of that Friday morning. He tried to eat and drink but simply couldn't hold it down. Both he and my daughter said he ate all his dinner. (I had sent dinner with them so it wouldn't be a problem with my neighbor to come up with food for them.) I couldn't figure out why he spent the morning dry heaving if he'd eaten. It wasn't till I started asking the right questions that I found out he didn't get all the food I sent for him just a small portion. *sigh* Around one it eased up and he was ravenous. My poor sweet boy .
Sunday we tried a new church. We decided we HAVE to get plugged into this community if we want to be happy here. We are happy together but we get homesick quite frequently. The other church we had been going to was just too big and no one talked to us. Could it have been the braided mole hair on my lip? I don't know. This one was much smaller and very friendly. We'll see how it goes.
That is it in a nutshell. It was pretty laid back and relaxing.
I hope you are having a great week!

Awww your poor baby. I've never heard of getting sick from not eating enough but perhaps thats what I have ;O) KIDDING, i get plenty and then some to eat, I wishI didn't...
Sounds like you all have been busy having fun. Keep it up!
OH, and about the cayenne peppers - either me or the pooch pulled half the pepper plant out of the ground by accident and it had a lot of peppers on it so I just took them inside so they didn't die lying on the ground outside. I think you can, according to my internet research, pick them green and dry them inside OR wait until they are turning red on the vine. Either way is fine.
Glad you had a good time on your date and that you had a good time with your family at the amuzement park.......So sorry your little one has stomach problems.....Hopefully he will grow out of it.
