I am....

proud of the loaf of bread I baked yesterday. It's even better toasted with a slight smear of peanut butter on it.

annoyed that the battery was dead on our truck today.

disappointed we didn't win the powerball drawing last night.

utterly and completely in love with my sweet CCB.

amused that my daughter lost her tooth this morning simply by running her tongue over it. (She is a bit of a wuss when it comes to pulling teeth.) That's 2 teeth in less than a week.

saddened by the idea that people lump everyone in any particular political party as being the same. Party affiliation doesn't mean anyone (on either side) is stupid or uninformed. It just means we have some different views. I'm not saying that there aren't individuals who are uninformed or misinformed. You can read through your email forwards to find that to be true. Just know that the spaz who writes it doesn't speak for me. (I can't tell you how many email forwards die with in my inbox.)

painfully aware of how much stuff I've forgotten from school. I was helping my daughter with her math homework and I had to go back and refresh myself on all the rules before I could help. EVEN THEN it took us forever to work through the problems! I do think the rules are sinking in to her, it seems to be getting a little easier.

a little disappointed that my son tries to talk me out of taking him to preschool each day. I really hoped he'd be more into it. He says it takes too long to get to the fun stuff (recess). I don't dare tell him it's only gonna get worse.

surprised and pleased that my daughter has felt the need for snuggles a couple of times this week. She's not a "lovey dovey'" girl so to have her initiate some snuggle time is a treat for me.

blessed to have "met" such lovely bloggers like you.

All together now...AWWWWWWWW.

I know that I have forgotten a lot from school....When your daughter is taking Calculas you know that you are not going to be able to help her.

I hope you were feeling smart for being so self-aware

School is harder these days, too. I know it just makes me sound stupid, but really? Kids in fourth and fifth grade are learning crap that I didn't learn until seventh or eighth.

Awwww!

God, I dread having to help kids with homework. I was good in school but hell, doing it once was enough for me and on top of that, I can only IMAGINE what knowledge I've lost since being in school....Good luck with all that OGO! I don't know how you have the patience.
