SOOOOOOOOOOO Change of subject.

First of all, I want to thank you all for your kind words and prayers. My friend is doing as well as can be expected and I know she appreciates your prayers as well. Thank you so much.

This is the first week my son hasn't had a melt down before preschool. Perhaps he's just resigned himself to the fact that he has to go. I don't know what it is I just hope it's a trend.

My daughter wrote a poem for class last night. It was fantastic. I'm proud of her. I'll have to ask her if she'll let me post it.

I've got company coming. They were supposed to be coming tonight but now it looks like they won't be here till tomorrow afternoon. It's going to seriously cramp our visiting time but I'm still happy to get to see them. After that we have my in laws coming for Thanksgiving and THEN we have my cousin coming the first week of December. WHEW! It's feast or famine in the visitor dept!

I made a fantastic hot fudge cake last night. (You know the kind, cake on top and gooey chocolate heaven on the bottom.) It used 1/3 cup baby food prunes. (1 serving UNDER 200 calories!) It was TASTY! No one suspected. Well my husband knew something was up when I kept asking him if he liked it. See, I want confirmation that he liked it before I tell him why he might not. *grin*

That's all I got today. I figure I should push the gloomy post down a notch so here ya go. *wink*

Thanks for being so sweet to me. I appreciate it.

You are going to have to go into a little more detail on the prune business. You frighten me.

Please publish your daughter's poem. You know we are all going to love it!

I could cut out the sweetness and be horrible if you like :-)

Good luck with your house guests, I hope they are duly impressed with your film location!

Oooh...house guest can be fun.

I'd love that recipe...especially if you can't detect the prunes...I sneak tofu into my lasagna...shhh.

I'd love to read your daughter's poem too.

I just caught up. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend--I assume your friends's mother was also your friend, since you seemed so distressed.

As for the prunes in the cake, I've made one of those myself, and tasty is just a minor word to describe it.
