It's Friday! Can I get woop woop?

Well it's Friday. I haven't been posting much cuz ya'll don't wanna hear me whine and mope. We are doing much better now that the shock of all this crap has worn off. I think my husband has smiled more in the last week than he has in the last 6 months! The weight of the old job is gone. He's been doing preliminary stuff with a few potential employers so we are hopeful something will pan out soon.

We got a welcome surprise a couple of days ago. It seems he was there long enough to get his 3 weeks of vacation pay! YAY! That's nearly a whole month of pay we didn't expect! Our income taxes were deposited to our account today so I am feeling a huge sense of relief right now. Today we went in to collect CCB's final check today only to find out they mailed it. While we were there we heard people talking about how they think CCB was set up for this whole mess. At least I know that they are aware of CCB's character and aren't buying into any lies. I really worried that they would smear his name. They put someone in charge that has never done the job and had only been there 4 months. HA! He doesn't know what he's in for.

So we are in a much better place than we were 2 weeks ago. We'll get through this and probably be better off for it.

I don't mind hearing you whine and moan because it's a very whine and moan-able situation!

I'm glad to hear about the unexpected 3-week pay. That's very good news. And I'm glad, as well, that CCB is so happy. I hope this is all going to be great for you guys, after all the scary drama is over.

If you will remember I have always associated my son-in-law's workload with CCB's. My S-i-l has changed jobs and his butt-hole boss had to replace him with three guys.

I know that when a door gets closed, God opens a window. I'm glad to hear that things are getting easier for you and CCB...Who knows, this may be the best thing that ever happened to your family, it could lead to better things.

I'm so glad things worked out in the end!

Hopefully he'll get a job where he's valued and appreciated and can spend weekends at home with you and the family where he belongs!
