It's just a bunch of stupid stuff.

I had planned to forget about the tree guy who never showed up. I figured if that was the way they conducted business I didn't want to help them. The problem is that they are supposed to be the most reasonable priced guys. Yeah, I broke down and gave them a call. I left a message on their voicemail and was almost immediately called back. This time it was a woman. She asked if I had talked to her the first time and I told her it was this other guy. That explained it. It was a breakdown in communication. Apparently she is the "brains" and he is the "brawn". At least that is the impression I got. They will be by this afternoon. Let's hope so.

I'm trying to spend less time on the computer. It is so easy for me to waste my sons naptime surfing the web. Then I feel like I accomplished nothing. I picked up Earnest Hemmingways "Farewell to arms" it's starting to get interesting. I also painted some more in my daughters room. I have had 3 corners done for quite some time I just couldn't drag my sorry butt in to finish it up. Now with company coming next month I have motivation!

My son loves his new slide. It has presented some new issues though. You can see when remembers he has it. All of a sudden his eyes get wide and he says "OH! Play Play!" Which is plenty cute I can assure you. So I get him ready to go outside to play. He plays for 10-15 minutes then he wants to go in! So we go in and he plays or watches a video for a little while then he wants to go back out! I find myself saying the same thing my mom used to say,"IN and OUT. In and OUT! We are not going to play In and Out all day! It's kinda funny how things come full circle isn't it?

Sorry about the choppy lame post. I've been having trouble coming up with things lately so I decided to just write whatever popped into my head.

thank goodness your son like the slide! I am so glad! In and Out makes me think of Grover on Seaseme street saying "Near....and....far"

hehe

Uuggh, I'm feeling the same way OGO. I got nothing really to say. It's okay, it'll come back to us. For now, go pain the room, get your things done, then come back and tell us all about the experience. he he...Hope your tree dudes show up.

Children's attention spans never mesh well with adults : ) Glad he likes his new toy though!

Is your yard fenced in? If it is, you could leave the door open so you could check on him, esp if he is only going to be out there for a few minutes. Sounds like he is having fun though!
