Current pet peeves

I figured I hadn't done a good rant in a while. I know this won't measure up to some of the epic rants I may have read on any of your sites but these are things that irk me none the less.

I am a big fan of Big Brother. I enjoy all the twists and turns. This year though I find that I'm increasingly annoyed by all the time they give to wAmber and Jameka's prayers. Not only do we hear them but they put it to organ music or monastery chants. It feels like they are mocking them. WHY are we hearing their prayers? Those should be private. Did we hear Kaysars? I remember seeing him praying on his mat but never hearing his words.

In addition to that little tidbit. I'm annoyed that everyone always knows who the biggest threats in the game are but they never take them out. They let them linger till it's much too late. Eric, you are a dork.

CCB and I have been walking a lot lately and whenever a car passes we walk single file as close to the side of the road as we can. (Remember, not a lot of sidewalks around here.) The kids on the other hand.....They might be walking 4 across and never move out of the way of the vehicle. They expect that car to find a way around THEM. Manners. Does anyone have them anymore?

It really grates on me when someone makes plans with you and then doesn't honor them. I'm not unreasonable. I understand that things happen. I'm cool with that. If you can't then CALL me. Don't just ignore me.

I hate that I LOVE to sing but I sound like a wounded cow.

It annoys me that I have to cinch up all my pants that are getting too big for me. HA! I'm lying! I love that!

Sorry. I just couldn't end on a crabby note. Have a terrific Thursday!

In regards to BB...I personally think the music is hilarious. And I think because they are so vocal about their religion, that's why BB is showing so much of it. It is mocking it a bit, but I laugh out loud every time the music starts, because I know what is coming.

So many people these days have no common courtesy. A phone call to cancel plans isn't THAT hard to do...people just don't take other people into consideration anymore. I miss Mayberry :)

Have a great Thursday OGO!

Many young people have not been taught good old fashioned manners. When I come across the four kids walking in the street I either just stop the car right behind them and wait till they move or I just go around them as close as I can without hitting them....It drives me crazy when they do that.

When I make an appointment to do something with someone I make sure I call if I have to cancel.....It is just common courtsey.

Wish my pants were getting too big...I need to start back to my walking too.

For some reason, I've just never gotten into Big Brother. Maybe I'm afraid if I watch I'll get sucked in...?

The rest of your rants? I agree with perfectly.

The pant rant? (ooo...I rhymed!) well, CONGRATS. keep up the good work!

Your singing can't be as bad as mine. This is what happened last time I sang, the poor thing thought I was it's mother, and unlike you I'm still whale-like proportions (sigh).

I guess life in the big brother house makes you go crazy because that's the only explanation as to how Jessica is falling for Eric.

first CONGRATS on the weight loss. YAYY. Doesn't it feel good! And I am with you on EVERY one of your rants...

I HATE Waaamber and I'm so glad she's gone. And I feel like she just jumped on the "prayer bandwaggon" with Jameka. It was so lame. And I think their prayers should totally be private. It's almost like their doing it for attention. And yes, I think BB is definately making fun of them.

There is a street down town in DC that is pretty large and people are constantly walking right in the middle of the street while you're driving. It drives me NUTS and I just want to run someone over one of these days but it would never teach anyone a lesson. It would just backfire on me!

I think I've lost about 20lb's too! It's so exciting!! yayyy losing weigh is so great :O)
